Introduction to Rally: So, you don't know anything about Rally but are interested? This class is for you! AKC Rally is the dog sport that is appealing owners and accessible to all breed and mixed breeds. A rally course includes 10 to 20 stations (depending on the level), each of these stations has a sign which is the skill that is to be performed. Rally offers both the dogs and handlers an experience that is encouraging and rewarding, while also laying a great obedience foundation.
Rally was created to promote a fun, positive relationship between dog & owner while learning basic obedience fundamentals. This class will introduce you to the the signs & how to perform them. You’ll begin by learning basic obedience, training skills, attention work and so much more. Come Rally with us and see what the fun is all about! Rally Novice is done on leash. |

Rally Advanced: Rally Advanced is where you will take your foundation training further and apply it to the exercises needed to perform and compete in Rally. Each week we will work on attention, heeling and new signs. We’ll also review the previous week's signs and skills. Graduation is a "Fun Match" where each team will be judged on the execution of numbered exercises on a course. Regardless of whether you want to compete in Rally, this class will help improve basic skills and strengthen your bond with your dog. Rally Advanced is performed off leash. Rally Excellent:
This class is trainer approved only and is for the experienced handler and dog. Rally Excellent is an Off Leash class. We cover the essential signs and polish up all obedience exercises. Rally Excellent is a great primer for Obedience One classes. |

GROUP BASIC OBEDIENCE Group classes are the first step after Puppy 101. Groups are focused on the basics commands (Sit, Down, Stay, Loose Leash walking, Recalls and Focus Training) within a group environment. How often have you thought to yourself..."But my dog does these things at home...?" It's because dogs don't generalize so it's imperative that you train your basics in different environments and with different dogs and distractions around. Group classes help you to train your dog to perform all of his "tricks" anywhere and to build solid communication and reliability. It's the key to a good training foundation. |
